Shalom mario alberto benedetto,
The Coronavirus plague continues to take a devastating toll on Israeli society, which is nearly in full lockdown. Israel is a small country. The number of confirmed cases is approaching 600, which is a higher number per capita than the US. Some estimate future cases could soon reach 10,000.
Israel has ordered all of its citizens to return home. The borders may soon be completely closed, even to Israeli citizens abroad.
While all Israelis are affected, the poor and elderly, Holocaust survivors, victims of terror and those with serious illnesses face the highest risk.
The lives of Israeli soldiers, security officers and medical care providers are in danger. Thousands of policemen and health workers are in home isolation.
The citizens of Israel are confronting an emergency of epic proportions. Coronavirus poses a far greater threat to Israel than acts of terror.
In certain areas, food and medical supplies are scarce. Health care workers are getting infected. Businesses are shut down. Financial difficulties are insurmountable. Israelis are in a state of panic.
The IDF is preparing to help the police enforce a total lockdown, if and when Prime Minister Netanyahu decides to do so. The citizens of Israel need your help right now - more than ever before.
Please open your hearts to help the people of Israel. If not now, when?
The situation in Israel is very fluid. Things change by the minute. Funds will be distributed where they are needed most.
Your donation will go towards:
| ▪ | Food and medicine for the poor, elderly and those in isolation |
| ▪ | Emergency aid to first-responders, medics and health care workers |
| ▪ | Financial assistance for families in dire need |
| ▪ | Clothing and essentials for IDF soldiers grounded on base for extended time |
| ▪ | Research to develop treatments and cure |
| ▪ | Keeping the public informed around the clock |
| ▪ | Critical needs that arise to fight the virus and keep Israelis safe |
The time to act is now!
May God reward your kindness and generosity.
With Blessings from Israel,
The United with Israel Family
